Last week we were delighted to spend some days in Leamington Spa with The Exams Office, working to produce a virtual version of their Annual Conference. With large-scale in-person events still not possible due to the Coronavirus Lockdown and social distancing requirements, running a Virtual Business Conference meant that their members all around the UK could still engage, be updated and feel part of the community.

Pictured above is the behind-the-scenes view of the TEO’s Q&A session where they were able to respond to questions sent in by members and discuss the implications of the topic in a relaxed, talk show-style studio environment. With the session’s main host seated behind a branded desk, the two guests could sit in a socially-distanced manner around a table with a dedicated microphone for each seat.

The setup used 3 separate cameras allowing for a wide shot of the whole studio in addition to an angle fixed on the host and then a close-up on the two guests. A mixing console meant that the session could be mixed live for immediate review after the recording session. The entire session could have been live streamed directly to an online video platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.) and/or embedded in the organisation’s website, however in this case the client’s preference was to pre-record the session in advance to allow for post production and delivery later that week.

Are you struggling with how to run your business conference or other events this year whilst the Coronavirus pandemic drags on? Or are you looking for ways to engage with a wider, International audience as well even when in-person events can take place once again?

Get in touch and let’s talk about how we can make it happen for you!
